A REPORT OF A NURSERY SEMINAR HELD ON THURSDAY 3rd AND FRIDAY 4th JANUARY 2013 IN NATIONS BILINGUAL SCHOOL COMPLEX

FIRST DAY OF SEMINAR

It started at about 9: 30 am with all the nursery teachers in attendance. On this first day, we learn the following
-we learnt how to paint and color tiles for decorations this we did practically.
-we also learn to draw and paint fruits using painted typing sheets according to the color of the fruit, for example if you want to draw a ripe fresh tomatoes, you paint your paper with color red, tear it into pieces and paste on a diagram of tomatoes it gives the exact shape and image of what you intended.
-we learn how to make mats using panted typing sheets of papers, cutting and joining hem.
-we learn how to makes seasonal card, example congratulation cadre, get well card, new year and Xmass wishes card etc and it was decided that all kids will makes mother’s day card for their mothers.
-we were tougut to use our palms to paint and paste on a paper for decoration.

SECOND DAY OF SEMINAR

The first part of the seminar for day two was outdoor. We went outside to the environment cutting leafs and the environment.
When we came back we draw report of each draw.
-some of the leaf where rubbed with pant and pasted on a cardboard paper for decoration
-we made a leaf album of all the leaf we saw.
-we learn how to produce teaching aids in drawing/creativity that id cutting shapes of various objects example Christmas tree pasting on a paper color it
-we learn how to explain a story to children through a diagram to look attractive.
-the seminar ended at about 4: o’clock with the teachers being satisfied with what they have learnt we wish such seminar should came up to mound and the teachers a better teaching and learning process.
