Title of the workshop: Masks making
To be able to make a mask I wood clay, cardboard, in plastic, etc. and be able to decorate it with objects from the nature, colored pencils markers etc.

Background knowledge: Masks in clay will break easily than those in wood, plastic and cardboard. There are many kinds of masks. Each area has its mask. Masks are closely linked with the divinity of each country.
Strategies: Individual work, group work, collective work
Materials: Scissors, hammer, pincers, glassed paper, flasks, mallet, vices, grater, rond and flask brushes, square, sharpener stone, anchory table, plank, rope, cardboard, plastics, saw, plywood, machete, chalk, markers, colored pencil, pencil, dark and red clay, a good carpentry
Number of participants: Minimum 15, maximum 25
Language: French and translation in English, Spanish and other languages
Place: A large room or a carpentry.

Participants will exchange on the following questions
What is a mask? Is there any mask in your country? What is it made of? What is its origin?
Each participant will make one or many masks with his/her preferred materiel.
Each participant could decorate what can be decorated with colored pencils and markers, etc.
Participants will end with masks made and decorated by themselves with objects from the environment. This will be done in group.
Note: Each participant will keep carefully his/her production for its presentation at the final meeting of the RIDEF.
